Saucepan Brownies
1/2 cup butter or margarine
2x 1 oz. squares of unsweetened chocolate
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup gluten-free flour (I used Celimix)
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
2 eggs
Melt together butter and chocolate in a saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly. Remove from heat after melted.
Stir in sugar, flour, baking powder, vanilla and nuts.
Add eggs and beat thoroughly.
Spread in greased 9 inch square pan and bake a 350 deg. for 30 minutes or until done. Cool in the pan on a cooling rack.
Makes 16 brownies. (Double for 13 x 9 pan)
