The object of the Society is to promote, foster, and manage all lines of athletic sports and games and in conjunction therewith to purchase, take on lease, hire or otherwise acquire, hold and operate lands or buildings or any interest therein for the purpose of hockey or any other athletic sports, exercises, shows and pageants, and to equip the same with the usual and necessary adjuncts.
