"Velvet And Sand". I find this picture of a bull elk in velvet particularly appealing. The majority of elk photos are taken in a rich forest setting. I find the austerity of the sandy background focuses attention on the bull.

"Froggy Went- A-Courtin"'. You may not think frogs are "wildlife" but when he goes a-courtin' it's quite a wild life for him!

"Jasper Rams". These big boys are sheltered from the storm on the lee side of the hill. The poor photographer (me) wasn't so lucky. The wind was blowing so strongly it was rocking me back and forth while I was trying to focus.

"Enjoying the Sun". Storms over, sun's out, just soaking up the winter rays.

Marlowe is an avid outdoors man. All his free time is spent enjoying the Rocky Mountain wilderness.

"Feeding Time". A herd of 26 rams and 4 ewes came rnnning, bucking, and bunting down the side of the mountain and then started to have lunch. It was an awesome sight.
