To celebrate Arts & Culture Week 2006, a log bench was constructed and a call for entries was made to local artists to paint a picture depicting the history of Hudson's Hope on the back panel. On 28 April Rosaleen Ward announced the winners of the competition, and presented them with the $200 prize. The two are students at Hudson's Hope School. After the bench is painted, it will be displayed in the community.
