Janeth originally is from Newfoundland. She and her son have resided in Tumbler Ridge for more than 7 years.  She has worked in the Health Center for more than 6 years.  She plays an important role in providing office organization and administration and in making sure that people feel comfortable.  If you have a question about office hours, booking an appointment, finding out more information or just want to understand more about how the counselling office works, she would be most helpful.

Russ has a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a Master's Degree in Counselling Psychology and has worked as a therapist for more than 14 years. He enjoys working with individuals, couples and families with a variety of life problems.  He maintains three programs in Tumbler Ridge:  Addiction Services, Mental Health Counselling Services and EFAP Counselling Services.  He also is facilitator for the Alternative Justice System in Tumbler Ridge.  He has lived in Tumbler Ridge for more than 7 years with his wife, Tina and two boys.  He enjoys building websites, and hiking on the great trails around TR with his boys.

Lucinda holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario and a Master's Degree in Leadership from the Royal Roads University in Victoria, BC.  Lucinda has always been committed to Tumbler Ridge and to the growth and development of individuals, families and the community as a whole.

She works as our Women's Counsellor and Safe House Coordinator for Tumbler Ridge.  If you are a woman who is dealing with any kind of life issues, a stressful environment within the home or family violence, Lucinda would be happy to talk with you and support you in any way she can.  Many women experience emotional, physical and sexual abuse within their relationships and going to counselling with Lucinda can be the first step to a journey to greater self-empowerment and understanding as well as esteem.

  Addiction Counselling Services
The Addiction Services Program is designed to help people who have an addictions problem of any kind, have been impacted by a family member with an addictions problem, or is struggling with addiction issues in the past or present. The Addictions Counsellor in Tumbler Ridge is Russ Webb and a referral is not necessary to make an appointment.

Our role is to provide screening, assessments, treatment, referrals and education to anyone who requests our services.  A simple phone call to set up an appointment is all that is needed.  This is a government funded program, free of charge to clients.

  Adult Mental Health Counselling Services
The Adult Mental Health Program provides counselling services for adults with chronic or temporary mental health problems or issues. The Mental Health Counsellor is Russ Webb. 

If you have been experiencing depression, anxiety and difficulties coping with with your present situation, feel free to call for an appointment.  All services are free of charge.

  Women's Counselling Services

  Safe Home Program
The Safe Home Program provides free and confidential emergency shelter for women and their children who require safety due to the possibility of relationship violence.  If a woman is choosing to leave a violent relationship supportive and practical services are available.  The Safe Home Coordinator in Tumbler Ridge is Lucinda Lindsay.  All services are free of charge.

  Youth & Family Counselling Program
The Youth & Family program is funded by the Ministry of Children and Family Development and provides counselling services to children and youth as well as parents and families for a variety of issues including:  parent/child conflict, resolving family problems and issues, addressing parenting issues and support for developing better parenting techniques and skills.  The Youth and Family Counsellor in Tumbler Ridge is Mimi Greengrass.  All services are free of charge.
