-------Ch. Trugold's Jazz Fever
Jazz was a beautiful
blonde girl with gorgeous side gait and lovely face. After getting all
of her health clearances I sent her to Washington to be bred to Bistro
when she was 2 1/2.
Then when she was about 4 weeks pregnant she finished her Ch. in Burns
Lake, Alberta, she had only been lacking 2 points.
She was entirely devoted to her babies, it was like she was born to do
this job.
When her litter was 5 weeks old, I lost my Jazz baby. We had a great day
that July 1st, she had come for a long walk with me in the bush and finished
it off with a swim in our pond. Just a few minutes after returning from
our walk I saw her laying in the yard, just like that-- she was gone.
In my grief and shock I didn't have an autopsy done so her cause of death
is not for certain. In my mind I am sure she asphyxiated on some rolled
oats that were for the horses. I am certain that I miss her every day
and can't believe she's gone so soon. Hold them tight-- 2 years or 12
it's never enough.

Misty
------- Ch. Kavon's Misty Show Girl WC CGN
Misty was a loving, eager to please girl who would do anything I asked
of her. She was a retrieve-a-holic and loved to swim. She especially enjoyed
fieldwork. At the age of 6 1/2 Misty earned her WC at the Canadian National
Specialty, at her very first WC test!
Misty carried a moderate amount of dark golden coat with a slight wave
in it. She had good length of neck and depth of body. Her movement was
clean coming and going and her sidegait was effortless and groundcovering.
She had year round black pigment, a scissor bite and full dentition. She
was a wonderful mother and raised a litter of 12 puppies. One week after
delivering she earned her Canine Good Neighbor title. She finished her
championship easily and went BOS several times.
Misty left us in May 2006 due to cancer. Her loving and eager to please
personality will be sadly missed.
