Day Hikes

The mountains to the south and west of Tumbler Ridge provide excellent day hiking opportunities. There is good access via logging and gas well roads which take the hiker close to treeline, or in some cases, above it. Although there are very few established trails, it is easy to get right on top of the ridges. The Front Ranges of the Rockies in this area are very similar to those found farther south near Banff and Jasper.
