Dog Sledding
With accessible wilderness in a variety of settings and elevations and a decent snowpack, the Tumbler Ridge area is ideal for dog sledding. Recreational mushers take advantage of numerous trails close to town and spectacular alpine areas. Tumbler Ridge is also the home of the annual Race Odyssey sled dog race, held in February.
